    Hey there Alan!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this inconvenience with your gamertag.

    If you had just done this recently, I would suggest trying to restart your PC or perhaps sign out and then sign in.

    Sometimes it takes these extra steps to refresh the information that is supposed to come up with your account.

    Gamertag doesn't appear to change in Party Chat.

    Gamertag still hasn't changed yet and it's been another 24 hours. Not saying I'm being impatient, but does this have anything to do with me being in an Xbox Live Gold Family?

    Charged for GT change, but no change made.

    My guess would be due to the volume of people changing their gamertags at the moment the system may be running a bit slow.

    Give it another 24 hours & see what happens.

    If it still hasn't changed try deleting your profile & re downloading it.

    I changed my name but I still have the recommended one that was given to me despite choosing a different name to begin with

    Try waiting 24 hours just to give it time to change over, let us know if it still hasn't changed by then :)
