    Xbox gamerpic not updating?


    I've been trying to update my gamer pic for a few days now. I changed it and waited 2 days and then tried again still for there to be no change. I know that it is a safe gamertag since its a very sfw anime profile picture. I've even tried a different photo thats similar. My friends have been able to change theirs for the last few days and im just confused why mine won't update, is there something wrong with my xbox app? I've never had this issue before. It told me when I tried updating it each time that it just needed to be checked by moderators for safety but its been a few days now of trying for nothing to update. Any advise or anything that im not doing on my side?

    Avatar not showing on live site and gamerpicture different.

    I'm not sure about the avatar, but the gamerpic is an Xbox One gamerpic. The website has been updated to show Xbox One gamerpics in some areas instead of 360 gamerpics. If you don't have a One, you're given a default gamerpic. Gamercards have not been updated
    to show Xbox One information which is why it's still a 360 gamerpic.

    Hey mate,

    All of the gamerpics have updated with the xbox one. When I updated to xbox one, my gamerpic went into a tiny picture as the quality of the 360 gamerpic is a lot less then the xbox one. Unfortunatley, you'll have to update to one of the new xbox one gamerpics
    if you want to maintain the quality. Also, once you switch to a new gamerpic, you can't go back :(

    Wrong gamer pictures being displayed for me and my opponents.

    You can only change your Gamerpic on the Xbox. Changing your style does not change your Gamerpic. Turn on your Xbox and update your Gamerpic.

    FYI, this issue is now resolved for me. The problem occurred for me soon after I created a new XBox profile for my fiance. I noticed that her GamerPic was always empty when we were using SmartGlass and while she was in XBox Fitness. I went into her XBox
    profile and updated her GamerPic and this fixed the problem (the CDN error went away and we could both see her GamerPic in SmartGlass and XBox Fitness).

    Based on this information, I'm assuming that it's possible to get an XBox account into a state where it hasn't fully synchronized with XBox.com. I doubt the problem relates specifically to the GamerPic, but rather, updating the GamerPic forces some kind
    of account synchronization that indirectly fixes the problem.

    Rather than purging friends one by one, maybe see if any of them are missing GamerPics or profile content in SmartGlass, and ask that they change something in their profile to force an update.
