    I've just purchased xbox gamepass ultimate on my PC and have the xbox app downloaded on my pc, seems to be working ok.

    My question is, you know you have the windows store and you can go to your games there, it recognizes that i have xbox game pass but when going to the games list, theres only a handful you can download, it says on games like forza, can only download on compatible
    devices (but it works on the xbox app).

    Why is this?

    Could just be you are confusing xbox gamepass and gamepass ultimate.

    Xbox Gamepass is xbox only, gamepass ultimate is xbox and pc.

    In Gamepass and Gamepass Ultimate is XBOX Live Gold included. If you want Gamepass or Gamepass Ultimate, you must buy this subscription too.

    gamepass on PC is just that gamepass, there is no ultimate on pc, if you have ultimate on xbox then you get gamepass on pc.

    If you bought the Gamepass for PC and don't have an Xbox then getting Ultimate Gamepass is pointless. It would upgrade your subscription from Gamepass for PC to Ultimate Gamepass
