Xbox Gamepass Ultimate subscription conflict with BT fibre promotion '6 month gamepass...

Was this ever sorted as I'm in the same situation? I added the 6 months yesterday and I had 20 months left, now it doesn't tell me how long I have left, it says purchased from BT.

No it's 3 years that's it you cant go over it

I'm glad that you was able to confirm with a Microsoft agent that your subscription is still active!

Edit: I forgot to add, as ngocphi said, you can have up to 36 months of ultimate. So, according to the Microsoft agent response, when BT subscription ends, you're going to have 30 months left

I can as double checking the terms and condition about Game Pass with BT:

"4. Once you have activated the service the Xbox Add-On will be added to your account. If you already have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate direct from Microsoft, it will automatically be updated to the Xbox Add-On on your next renewal date and added to your BT account."

Reading that I understood that your subscription is now handled by BT. (And... Sorry to say but it seems the previous is not going to go back)

Due to also viewing their FAQ, something similar is stated:

"I am on a paid subscription and now have the free offer - will I get a refund?

If you currently have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you can continue to use this until its end date. Your 6/12 months will then begin automatically."

From my understanding they advise you to wait until your actual game pass subscription ends and then use their offer

Thankfully, I went through the customer support service on xbox.com

eventually got through to a person other than the bot:





It's apparently not gone and is still there. It's just hit the maximum cap of three years and as I was only a couple of months into my 3 years of time it just added in the one month. It's not showing properly on my account but the assistant assures me that it's still there, I'll hopefully find out more when he/she gets word back from their higher team then I'll post it here.

I hope this helps anyone else that's having this problem.
