Xbox Gamepass Ultimate PC - unable to launch Bethesda games

I'm unable to start Doom Eternal on my gaming laptop.

I continiuesly get the message that I have "To use this here first remove another device". I allready cleanded-up my devices. Doesn't seem to help. I don 't have this issue with other games I download through gamepass. Looks like it's only with games that are published by Bethesda (Doom, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein Young Blood, ... ). Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this resolved! I have no issues launching the game from my Xbox Consoles (One, One X, Series S, Series X, ... )

No, They are not. I had GamePass PC earlier and everything used to work properly but then one day I got notification that there is an offer on GamePass Ultimate so I upgraded but since the day GamePass PC subscription ended and GamePass Ultimate subscription started, I can only launch games that are on EA Play and that too from EA Desktop App only.

Now, because the GamePass Ultimate was a 3 month subscription, so I can't even go back to GamePass PC until it's over.

Any game that launches from Xbox app for Windows fails to launch and tried repairing and resetting the Xbox and Microsoft Apps, sign-out and then again sign-in on both the apps but still same thing.

For Example, Forza Horizon 4 used to work earlier but now it does not.

type winver and see which version you are on

If you haven't already, I would recommend trying a different user and try to launch the games again. Sometimes the performance and stability of gameplay can be affected by corrupted profile data on your Windows 10 device.

Select the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen.
Select your account name from the top-left corner of the menu, and then select Switch account.
Sign in with a different account.
Restart the game to see if it works correctly.
