Xbox gamepass subscription wont allow me to cancel

Tried renewing my gold membership but cant because microsoft says im past due on my gamepass membership. Now isnt that funny since i used a prepade xbox card and there should be nothing past due since i have
no other card on file. Now they want me to pay 16 plus bucks b4 i can renew my gold membership. With no number to call and the call back line being down it seems to me microsoft might have a lil hussle going on. Now all i want to know is who else has experienced
the same issue or simmilar and is ready to do something about and would like to be compensated by microsoft? Please let me know so we can stop this from continuing to happen.

Sorry about that issue, i suggest you to contact an agent ( chat or call ) > https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us to know if there is a work around cause when a past
due bill is on your account, the only way to solve that past due bill is a credit card.

if there was a payment, it is active, in this case, first request a refund:

then disable recurring billing:

Sign in to the Services & Subscriptions page with your Microsoft account. If you have more than one account, sign in with the one associated with your subscription.

select the service, and click disable recurring billing.

You purchased gamepass and then canceled your Xbox live. Now you want to cancel gamepass so then when the subscription times run out you will no londer have either gamepass or live. You canceled both.

I do not see any store refunding you for a subscription you bought, activated then canceled.

Canceling your Xbox GamePass will not delete your Xbox Live Subscription. They are two different subscription services.
