    Xbox GamePass PC Audio issues


    For some reason, when I try to play certain games through the Xbox GamePass PC app, the game audio will play through my Rift headset, which is not my default, and other games will play through my default audio.

    For example, Flight Simulator plays through my default speaker setup, yet Operencia plays through my Rift headset. There is no reason for this to happen as far as I can see, and the only way to get it to work is if I disable my Rift headset. Which I shouldn't
    have to do.

    Any ideas on why this is happening? I got a new monitor that does the audio over the DP cable, and it originally played through that! Disabled, and it switched to the Rift. Why do some games play through the default, and others don't?

    Hello Nuclearboy57, if your problem is the same as Reddit and happens with xCloud games, this can occur for various reasons, location, internet, game type, whether online or not, multiplayer or not, do not forget that despite being a gaming service they are by streaming, then several of them and lags can occur when using the service.

    I apologize for responding so late, but I appreciate your assistance. I should have clarified in the post, but this problem occurs for me on games that I have downloaded to my hard drive. I have yet to try cloud gaming since the problems have began so I am unsure if the problem occurs on there as well.

    I have Xbox GamePass Ultimate, but Xbox App on PC only recognizes the standard GamePass

    gamepass on PC is just that gamepass, there is no ultimate on pc, if you have ultimate on xbox then you get gamepass on pc.
