    XBOX Gamepass Games Question


    Hi there, I have played Forza Horizon 5 in the past, using my Xbox gamepass with cloud gaming. Since I have last played, though, my gamepass has run out and I'm not interested in buying it again if there are only a few main games I play. If I were to buy the version of Forza Horizon 5 off of the Xbox app, would everything from when I had gamepass save and would I be able to play on cloud gaming?

    There are times where xbox removes games from gamepass to make way for new games.

    Hello Chocopop,

    It is depends on how you plan on gaming over the time left on your subscription. If you are not interested in gamepass or gamepass for PC then I would not convert. The whole point of gamepass ultimate is to bundle together Xbox live gold, Xbox gamepass and
    Xbox gamepass for PC.

    If all you like is Xbox gold, then ultimate would not be for you. So, keep that in mind.

    My question to you is have to tried to uninstall the game and then reinstall. Plus if it were from gamepass and you gamepass is over due, all gamepass games stop working all together.

    You would still have your progress since that is stored on the cloud, but you would not be able to play it through cloud gaming. Currently cloud gaming is only available with Game Pass Ultimate.
