Xbox Gamepass games not uninstalling from PC ?

Hello,

I recently encountered a problem where while downloading/installing a game via PC Gamepass app, my PC froze and had to restart, (game was at 25 GB from 96), since then when I acces microsoft store or gamepass app the game appears not installed and I have
only the option to download it again. But now I do not have the space on my PC because the space is still allocated, I uninstalled another game from the app and it dissapeared but the game space from my drive is still there, it didn't delete any data. Can
anyone know how to solve this issue ?

It depends on if you're playing PC games through Gamepass PC. You can uninstall the Xbox apps by right clicking them and selecting uninstall.

I would recommend normal Microsoft Store troubleshooting on Windows 10. Try to Reset the Store Cache

Right Click on the Start Button, then

Click on Run.

Enter WSReset.exe and

Click on OK or hit your Enter Key

Restart your computer.

To uninstall Gamepass games from your PC after canceling your Gamepass subscription, you can follow these steps:

Press the Windows key + I to open the "Settings" app.

Go to "Apps" and click on "Apps & features".

Scroll down to find the Gamepass game you want to uninstall and click on it.

Click on the "Uninstall" button and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.

Repeat the process for any other Gamepass games you want to uninstall.

If you are unable to uninstall the games through the "Apps & features" section in the "Settings" app, you can try uninstalling them through the "Control Panel". To do this, follow these steps:

Press the Windows key + R to open the "Run" dialog.

Type "control" and press Enter to open the "Control Panel".

Go to "Programs" and click on "Uninstall a program".

Scroll down to find the Gamepass game you want to uninstall and click on it.

Click on the "Uninstall" button and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.

Repeat the process for any other Gamepass games you want to uninstall.

download the xbox app and sign in with your account that has gamepass pc, then download the games from gamepass pc.

That's the thing. I didn't personally remove any save data from the PC. Yet I am unable to find any old files that fit the bill. It's like gamepass for PC also removes the save file upon the uninstallation of a game.
