Xbox gamepass app restrictions

If i change to my computer from a microsoft account to a Local account, it fixes this bug but i would rather fix the problem so i don't have to relog every time i want to download a new 18+ game. Not sure if this is the cause but might be an useful information, the microsoft account im using on my windows profile is different from mine on the xbox app, but both are 18+.

You have to do it from the gamepass app

Also have to be in an xcloud region

Best bet check the gamepass list of regions and mind you not all xgu regions support xcloud and are geo restricted for performance

Ty for your response. My Nintendo wii, switch, and work laptop are on the same at&t network w no issues. Only the Xbox gamepass is malfunctioning. I use a profile on a separate Samsung TV gamepass app using Google fiber. My son is using a different TV w our Xbox console using at&t fiber which is better quality. Is it his restriction settings or his gamepass account?

Hey, i really think this is a bug, maybe probably due to the beta status of the Xbox App/Gamepass? Anyway i have also neither any account restriction nor family controls.

The only way i was able to play mature games with Gamepass was to download via Microsoft Store. There you have to identify yourself via Microsft account, not Xbox account.

This procedure was a bit odd, but it worked.

P.S. I recently realized it also worked via Xbox Gamepass Mobile App. In my case for iOS.

So.

It didn't work, the app is installed with my account, though the one of my child. But the gamepass is not active (when I clic on "suscribe", the browser open on my account, with an active gamepass, but the app not get it)

And, as long as the app is used on the other account, most of the games are not availlable on MY account, since it apply a age restriction.

Clearly there is an issue on how the data are shared between the accounts.
