xbox gamee pass pc error at redeem

I want to redeem the code through a mobile as I don't have my pc currently. I tried doing it through the webpage, but it still showed the same error. And both the Xbox app and the Xbox Game Pass apo don't have any options for redeeming code

That would be why you can't redeem it then...from the FAQs in the link I posted before:

"If you were previously subscribed or currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for PC, or an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you will not be able to redeem the two month trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate!"

Since it's already been redeemed there's nothing that could be done. Codes will only redeem what they're made for. So even if it's an Xbox code, but you redeem it through the PC, you would still get Xbox content. So it would have been bought as a Game Pass for PC code instead of Game Pass for console.

I’m not sure what advantages you are talking about. Which Game Pass Ultimate Perks are you trying to download where you receive this error?

To redeem your perks, you must enter the code on your console or PC app you cannot redeem them via mobile.

It can be redeemed on either, but it will only be redeemed for what it's for. So if it's a code for PC Game Pass, it will only work on PC.
