    Xbox gamebar detecting mic but not letting me speak


    so i play games on my pc with xbox friends, and since i have a microsoft account i use the gamebar app to hop in an xbox party with them, this all worked fine until about 2 days ago where i would join a party and couldnt talk, i could hear everyone but they couldnt hear me and the indicator wasnt popping up that i was speaking, ive double checked and all my inputs and outputs are correct, gamebar even detects the mic but im stumped, the mic works for all other apps like discord, gamechat, and whatnot. any solutions?

    having the same issue when gamebar is not open in the foreground every other program can use the mic just not xbox or gamebar unless its on top.

    use gamebar for party chat instead then you can pop into gamebar setting and set the default mic and output in there better.

    what is a NAT? I am not using an Xbox. I was on a Facebook party time chat. I have never had a problem with my mic. It is visible as working, not with a diag. line through it. But no one could hear me.
