Xbox gamebar clips audio not in sync, videos freezing

Luyene Gan · Oct 16, 2022

So I'm playing fps games and want to clip some gameplay. Haven't had trouble on this until recently. The clips I saved are working in the first half of the video then the latter half is frozen and audio is suddenly gone. There are times that audio is not in sync as well for the whole video. Can anyone help?

I already tried resetting the app, repair, uninstalling-reinstalling but nothing fixes the issue.

I'm using a new gaming laptop with an ssd and on windows 11 so I'm not sure why this is happening. On my pc, I used gamebar with the same settings and never experienced a problem.

Hi, already tried these but still encountered the same issue. No errors were even found.

I would say there is an issue with the servers that service the Xbox Live clip service...I have been having the same issue on my Series X for the past month and others on here have also mentioned it

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello Luyene, this is really weird, by the description of your system and PC should not have this kind of problem.

Try performing the procedures below on your PC.

DEFRAG

Defragment your Windows 10 PC

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/def...

Using System File Checker in Windows

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/usi...

chkdsk

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server...

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

Hi, I have recently had this same problem when recording clips on my Xbox One. The audio for two clips I recorded last night were about 2 to 3 seconds delayed from the video. I tried to not let it bother me, but after the problem hadn't seemed to go away
today, I researched it a bit to see if there was anything I could do. What worked for me was deleting the two clips that had delayed audio in them, then I shut off my Xbox, turned it on again and fired up GTA online to record some clips and see if the audio
was synced. I took a picture using the Snapmatic app on the in game phone and took a picture. When you take a picture it gives you a shutter sound when the camera takes the picture. This is a good way to see if your audio is synced. The audio on my clip was
perfectly synced and the problem hasn't come back. I recorded 3 clips today, and the audio is perfectly synced. I'm not sure if deleting the badly synced clips solved the problem or if shutting of the Xbox and unplugging it did the trick, but maybe these tips
can help some of you guys with this issue. I know it sucks having to delete some game clips, but it worked for me and maybe could work for you. Good luck!

These were the system errors I was getting E200 000000EF 00000000 and E105 00000000 8007045D. My Xbox One X would freeze and it the loading screen for the Xbox One X chip video would be lagging and out of sync with audio and video. I would also get something
went wrong errors and syncing problems.
