Xbox Gamebar automatically turns off after uninstalling xbox services.

Last year, I used a third party app to remove all xbox apps since I didnt need them. I now know that was a mistake. I have tried everything I could find online to get them back. Is there anyway I can get the xbox services back without resetting windows?

If you made a backup from before removing it then you can always system restore ro an earlier version. If not you can always reset your windows operating system. I'd save any important information on an external harddrive and then reinstall windows.

Thanks for coming to the forums. I found an
older thread that has different options on it to help you. Here is a section might be the most beneficial.

If nothing else helps you can run a Repair Install by installing the Media Creation Tool and choosing from it to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows in about an hour while saving your files, apps and most settings,

You can’t uninstall the Gamebar, however you can shut it off in the Gamebar settings.

I don't use Xbox or the app. I turn off the gamebar, also.

The xbox Apps on the PC are a core Service. That's why you couldn't uninstall them the usual way. You could deactivate the gamebar it in the settings. Even if you uninstall it and manage it to delete it in the regedit it will be back with the next big
Update again.
