    Xbox game updates taking the p*ss!


    Hi, for some reason for a long time now every time I update a game literally any game the update could be 200mb but for some reason that is really starting to annoy me my Xbox decides to reinstall the ENTIRE game. Surely you can understand that installing
    a game like Fifa 18 (which is 45gb) everytime i get a small update is a joke. I spend more time updating my games than actually playing them. Is there a solution to this because right now its driving me up the wall.

    security enhancements, UI tweaks, adding new features. It's true. Microsoft spys on us and has a lol while they spam us with updates on a regular bases. 21st century technology is so unreliable, that it needs regular updates. If
    it were good enough, we wouldn't need all these [beep]'n updates. And it's not just a Microsoft problem. Apple, Samsung, Dell, Toshiba, HP, Sony, AVG, Norton, Nvidia, AMD, Intel.

    Sure they could create some autonomous adaptive AI technology system. But if you've watched Terminator Genesis, humans tend to not put that level of trust, in technology.

    I also agree with Electro's comment too. As soon as they try to fix one thing, they create another issue. And the cycle keeps repeating unto infinity. 500 GIGS is nothing. Monthly Updates on Xbox One tend to be around 236GB on average.
    236GB x 12 months = Xbox game updates taking the p*ss! o_O, and your complaining about a 500 GIG update?

    Xbox update taking 500G!?

    Two or so days ago I updated my Xbox one, the update took of 500G! I'd like to know why it took so much. Can anyone tell me why it took 500G for the update?

    once your offline games done installing off line take your xbox one online to update but it optional unless need to get to your game saves back by syncing your game to the internet . if you don't want to update your game and the xbox one give you
    a notice to update your take your xbox one console offline to play the game

    If you all think Xbox is slow, you should get a Wii U. It took over an hour for our update to download and another 45 minutes to install; and that was 3 days ago. Game updates take forever too. Our Xbox One updated in 20 minutes and game updates take less
    than 2 minutes.
