Xbox Game Streaming (test app) closes when i open it.

Yes, streaming games. Did stream test and everything was/is ok. Xbox is wired, tried laptop on both 2.4G and 5G WIFI both work the same. Like I said I can start to stream (game) but if minimize app, close app, open something else or even use the keyboard
to type the video freezes and I can only unfreeze it by restarting my xbox but on my old laptop (HP notebook) the video never froze. The new laptop is a MSI.

Yeah. I have to believe that the issue is with the way the Xbox One processes the video. Netflix is damn near unwatchable via XB1 but is beautiful on my PS3. Something that may help (that I just read and haven't been able to test yet) is to make sure that
you close all other running apps before using your video streaming app. To do this, go to the home screen and use the menu button on whatever app you have open in the "main window" and then chose Quit or Close.

Are you running the Xbox Application on Windows 10? Just want to confirm.

If the Xbox app crashes when streaming, joining a party or uploading a video on your PC, you can try resetting the Xbox app to default. This will remove all of your settings and cache and hopefully, resolve the issue you're experiencing.

1. Open the Setting app and go to the Apps section on your PC.

2. Select Xbox from the list and click Advanced options.

3. Scroll down to the Reset section and click Reset and again to confirm.

After you do this, your Xbox app will be reset to default and the problem should be resolved. The app is great on Windows 10, but if it keeps closing on you after you give this a try.

I have this, and when i press the xbox button the app open and close, together with the game bar

I would think changing the password to gamer account and any of the streaming apps that require passwords would stop this issue.

That doesn't stop the problem at all actually.

just to be clear, the apps, groove and youtube open up and run on your xbox when the issue happens, and you then need to go in and close those apps on the xbox.
