Is the Xbox Game Pass Subscription worth the $10 price.

Do you have access to New Release Games such as Call of Duty Black Ops 4, that was just released. Would you

be able to download any new release games.

And if a game that I have downloaded leaves the catalog can I still play it, even tho it is no longer in the catalog.

I am just confused about accessing the games and how that works, and how long I would have access to the game.

I am just trying to determine if the subscription is the way to go, and if it is worth it.

All Season Passes bought on 360 can be transferred to an Xbox One

Any season pass you buy on an Xbox 360 can be transferred to an Xbox One when you buy one. Seems a good idea for games like BF4 and CoD Ghosts.

If there are a lot of games through game pass you would like to play, then it is worth it. Not all new releases are added on the day of release. Black Ops 4 is not available through Game Pass.

If a game leaves the catalog, you can only play it if you purchase the games.

If there are a lot of games on
game pass that you would play, then it definitely would be worth it. If there are a handful of games that you would play, then it may still be worth it, as you have full access to the version of the game that is on game pass, for as long as you continue
your subscription, and that game is on game pass. I would recommend you have a look at the

full list of games included in the game pass subscription to decide if it would be worth it for you.

You won't have access to every single new release title, but there are a few, like Forza Horizon 4 which came to game pass on it's global launch date, COD Balck Ops 4 is not one of those games.

You will have to purchase the game if you wish to play it once it leaves the catalog.

As for how the access of games works. You pay the $10 a month, and you have the digital rights every game currently in the game pass catalog, on the account that has the game pass subscription.

As for determining if the subscription is worth it, I can't decide that for you, but hopefully the answers I have provided will help you to decide if you should get game pass or not.

I have been a Xbox Game Pass subscriber since day one and personally I think it has been great value for money. There is a large catalouge of games and it has allowed me to play games that I wouldn't normally play and of course having access to first party
exclusive games on day of release is also a great addition.

 

the new releases you will have access to are the games from microsoft studios, such as , Forza, HALO and Gears of War. On top of that there is a bank of older games to play. So far ive been very happy with the service

 

Game Pass is absolutely worth the price, you get access to a massive amount of games including day one access to MS Exclusives. I have the trinity of game pass, ea access and gold, and have more games to play than i know what to do with.

 

IT depends on your play style, and what types of games you play really.

For me, it was only worth it once Sea of Thieves released.

I think Gamepass is worth the money. I personally use it as a way to play games that I might not have played before. Or to play some older games that I missed when they came out. The games in the catalog are the full versions of the game and
you have access to them as long as you have a subscription and they are in gamepass. One major benefit of Gamepass for me is all Microsoft First party games will be coming to gamepass on day 1. That includes games like Halo, Fable, Gears of War, Crackdown,
and Forza. If you are going to buy only 2 of those games when they come out then a Year of Gamepass has paid for itself.

I've used gamepass to play the NBA 2k games when they show up, there have even been some indie games that have released day 1. I've been very pleased with the service and use it more than I thought it would.

Its worth it to me totally but may not be for everyone. I’ve already played and finished at least 10 game I would not have otherwise purchased and getting the 1st party games day one is icing on the cake.

 

I think all your specific questions have been answered. But I would definitely add that it is worth the price especially considering all Microsoft exclusives will be available at launch.
