Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Past Due

Okay so back in like December or January I had gold and I decided to upgrade my subscription to Xbox game pass ultimate for $1 and now in July I forgot to cancel it the day before and now it’s past due. I have a credit card to pay for the remaining amount
but for some reason, whenever I try to pay, an error comes up.( Try that again, something went wrong on our end. waiting a bit might help ) I got another gold gift card in hopes of being able to play online again but when I tried to redeem it, it said it will
convert it into 1 month of Xbox game pass ultimate (which seems like a horrible deal to me since it’s literally converting 3 months of gold to 1) So, what happens if I don’t pay the past due subscription? (Even though I can’t because an error keeps popping
up) I saw on a Microsoft forum that my account would be suspended but that didn’t happen last time. I had this problem before but it got solved within a day (it cancelled itself) but it’s passed a day and nothing has changed. Will it stay forever or will it
go away in a matter of time so that I can redeem my prepaid gold gift card? (3 months) or is my account suspsended and I have to wait 6 months to pay it? Thanks in advance !

depending on when it was set to renew, you may be able to pay the balance and then request a refund, or, if the past due subscription is for Live Gold and you wanted to take advantage of the deals on Game Pass,
Ultimate you can simply pay the outstanding balance and then upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate and any time left on your Live Gold will also be converted to Game Pass Ultimate

go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and turn off recurring billing/auto renew on the Game Pass Ultimate subscription before you get a Past Due Balance on your
account.

if you get a Past Due Balance you will need to pay that off before you can get Live Gold or Game Pass.

wait till the Ultimate Game Pass Expires before getting Gold or it will convert to Ultimate Game Pass

Hello, the past due balance needs to be cleared out on the account. You can call support and see what they say but you do need to have the subscription cancelled out too.

You can contact support and speak to billing and they should be able to assist in going ahead and paying off the balance. http://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us

Typically if a balance is not paid, your account will be suspended either until the balance is paid or it's been 60 days (I believe that's the amount of time). You won't be able to add a prepaid gold/game pass card until the suspension ends.

Alright I’ll contact support but my problem is, I am unable to pay off the subscription. An error pops up and that’s why I was confused to whether I was suspended. Thank you for the help though!
