XBOX Game Pass Ultimate Free Trial Turned Into "Free" Year?

Hey everyone,

I bought a new controller because mine broke, and got a "game pass ultimate" free 15 day (or something like that) trial with it. So, naturally, I inputted the code for my free days. I did this a couple weeks ago roughly. Today I go and look to see how much
time I have left on the subcription just out of curiosity, and it says that the subscription expires APRIL 9TH, 2021. Recurring billing is off and it says it was paid using a "prepaid card" which I'm guessing is the free code I had. I'm just hoping I didn't
get charged for a year of it on my card. Did Microsoft decide to bless me or am I getting charged? Thanks for your help in advance!

Ok, that makes sense to SOME extent, but Ultimate is a more expensive product, wouldn't they just upgrade 15 days to Ultimate and then convert the rest back to Gold?

That would make sense but no, they don't. Since Ultimate includes Gold, they just upgrade it.

If you had gold or game pass when you added the code for Ultimate, the remaining time you had left was converted to Ultimate since Ultimate already includes those.

IF you're referring to the free trial through Game Pass perks, you need Game Pass Ultimate.

Skate 3 is an EA title, and therefore will likely remain in EA Access. There is a free trial, and a free month with Game Pass Ultimate,
