Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC doesn't cover exclusive in-game content

I bought the PC Game Pass a while ago and I got hooked on the game Dead By Daylight, I saw all of these DLC exclusive characters and decided to upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC to get access to them. But after the transaction went through I didn't get exclusive access to anything.When you're about to upgrade your subscription it tells you that you will have "access to exclusive free perks including in-game content and partner offers", so why do I still not have access to the DLCs?

First I thought that the subscription didn't cover Dead By Daylight exclusive content, but then I took a look at the microsoft store and all the DLCs have a "game pass" tag under the price.

Am I missing something here, for example do I have to wait a few hours for the subscription to upgrade or something like that?

Note: When I opened Dead By Daylight I got 50k of the non-premium in game currency, so I thought to myself that I successfully upgraded my subscription and have access to the DLCs, why else would I get that? But then I checked the character list and all of them are blocked and that I have to pay for them with premium currency, which I don't have. Also, I tried out the subscription on another game, Cities Skylines, to check if it was a problem with the game itself, but after I booted it up, I didn't have access to that game's DLCs either. I really hope I didn't waste my money here.

Game Pass Ultimate is just a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass for console, and Game Pass for PC. It doesn't change what's available through Game Pass. DLC is not typically included with Game Pass but you can usually buy the DLC with a discount for having Game Pass.

The perks that are mentioned is also not always DLC. It's a chance to get access to things like 3 months of Discord Nitro, a free trial to Disney+, and some in-game content for specific games. You can view the perks in the Xbox app.

Do you have Xbox Game Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? The reason I'm asking you this question is because only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members get exclusive access to Perks. New content will regularly be available, which you can redeem on your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass mobile app, or Xbox app for Windows 10 PC.

Check you subscription to make sure that you are subscribed to Xbox game pass ultimate.

You can only access PC games via game pass if you pay for a sperate subscription to PC game pass or you have Xbox game pass Ultimate.

A game pass for you Xbox is exclusive to your Xbox.

the Nitro gift is only available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users, so in theory, you should be able to claim it on pc, because Ultimate covers both Xbox and PC.
