I have no idea how to set up a Game Pass subscription for my son. I have logged into the xbox website using his email, but it says he needs a parent to purchase this on his behalf - but when I'm logged in as myself, I can only seem to buy it in my name. If he uses that, he loses all his progress on his saved games

Can you give me a step by step on how I can buy him a subscription to ensure he doesn't have to start over everywhere?

Have to say, this is a frustrating and confusing mess - not your fault I know. But I am bored of going round in circles now

To answer your questions, it is my son's account that's signed into the Xbox, the subscription is in my name rather than his, and yes, it's set as the home console as it's the only Microsoft device we own

To resolve this, I should cancel my subscription (as I never use it, I only set it up for him) and set a new one up in his name, right?
