    XBox Game Pass Ultimate and Family


    Hello, we are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children). The children are all in our microsoft family, with content and age restrictions set up.

    We have 3 gaming PC's and two XBox One's in our house.

    We have never really looked into XBox Game Pass other than to install most of the stuff on the main XBox, and there is only one account that is assigned to both, which means when my sun is playing Minecraft on one of the XBoxes, it shuts off whatever is
    running on the other one.

    My question might be complicated but here goes:

    1) Is XBox GamePass ultimate available to use on all the PC's and XBoxes that we have in our home?

    2) Are we allowed to play simultaneously on PC's and XBoxes, or is it limited to one "thing" at the time?

    3) Can I set up the XBox app on my kids PC's and let them roam content that is free to XBox GamePass Ultimate but with age restrictions applied? (somehow linked to my main account). Right now, they have nothing installed related to XBox other than Windows

    Absolutely yes! The Game Pass Friends and Family is still an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So you should still get all the benefits from the Ultimate.

    But my subscription is for Game Pass Ultimate and not for Game Pass for PC... My family should have access to the games, right? Otherwise, what is the family plan for?

    The possible explanation is that your Microsoft account is added to an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Friends and Family Plan. It is a Microsoft family feature that allows up to five people to share a single Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Each person on the plan received unique access to the entire Game Pass Ultimate library across Xbox and PC, EA Play, and other benefits.

    You may confirm this by signing your account on account.microsoft.com > then go to Family and check if your account is in a Microsoft family.

    NOTE: Microsoft has announced that it will be ending the preview of its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Friends and Family Plan on August 15.

    Based from the support article here https://www.xbox.com/en-IE/xbox-game-pass/frien... the Game Pass Friends & Family is currently available only in Colombia and Republic of Ireland.

    Just to confirm, are you currently subscribed to Game Pass Friends & Family or just Game Pass Ultimate?
