Xbox game pass tries to redownload some games even though I already downloaded them

    Xbox game pass tries to redownload some games even though I already downloaded them


    As the text suggest. I hsve been trying to get wo long to work on the xbox game pass for pc for 4 hours already. It was working properly this morning and it is installed on my second drive which is the one with actual space. I come back and when I open the game it says your game is updating and tries to redownload the game completely.

    I have uninstalled the game multiple times and made dure everything was deleted from for the game.

    I have followed the steps the xbox website has for "fixing" this bug and nothing.

    I have seen that this is an old problem with a random fix that works for some people and not some others.

    I downloaded Monster hunter rise and it opened properly and I could play it. I can also open wo long through the cload and it loads with no problem.

    I am at a lost at this point and this id getting out of hand.

    Re-download xbla games?

    Some games may have been completely removed from the servers so you won't be able to download them, but there will still be some you can redownload even though they are not on the marketplace. just redownload them from your download history.

    Downloaded games can only be run online on LIVE

    You need to do a license transfer and then redownload the games (even though you already have them downloaded, they will redownload the licences that you need).

    I just redownloaded Minecraft and when I did the game said "buy trial" even though I've already bought and downloaded the game. Well, at least it's not saying "incompatible with launcher" anymore, yet still it asks me to buy the game again.
