Xbox game pass subscription game disappeared off hard drive

I have a similar issue with Forza. I bought the $1 promotional month and was charged $5.26 on 8/5/2019 presumably for the second month. Haven't played on the Xbox app since the first month of my subscription and just tried launching the game. I get "When
you got a refund on Forza Horizon 4 it was removed from your device." I never refunded my subscription, but it seems the $5.26 charge was refunded as I opened my Xbox app... My Paypal is legit, and I have more than enough money to cover it in my bank account.
My Windows is fully updated, I have two different apps to launch games from and neither work. My purchased games do work however, and I'm not able to re-purchase game pass anywhere.

There really is no way to know. Maybe it tried to update and the update failed so the game was removed from the console.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue with a game you installed. If the game didn't install properly, or stopped for a time it would uninstall itself. This has been in effect for a while. Same as if you stop an installation, or pause
it. After a while it will uninstall to protect from corruption. All you need to do is install again. Make sure you do not pause or stop it.

As stated before, there could be a variety of different reasons as to why it uninstalled. Have you been able to reinstall the game? As it is only the one game wouldn't worry about it too much. It most likely was bad install or tried to update and couldn't.
If these happens the game will uninstall.
