    My friend gifted me an xbox game pass coupon code before he goes to cadet collage now i cant contact him for 4 months , and i dont know that which region's code is that , is there anyway that we can find the region name ?

    No.that's not.the.problem

    Gifting is region locked

    So.whatever.region he is in that would.be the region and you cant just.change your console region it has to be your account region and its GEOLOCKED so changing your account region won't work either as you need a billing method and ip address of the same region

    When it has happened to me it was related to specific games that were not available in my region. The problem with the xbox app is that it will let you download any game in the game pass catalog without taking into account regional
    limitations, but when you try to launch the game you will get that error. I'd advice checking your regional MS store to see if the game is available and also included in the game pass for your region (I've seen games not on the pass for my region while they
    were available in US for example).

    Sorry for this, i have to ask: You are sure you bought the Game Pass Ultimate not just Game Pass?

    Do you live in the supported regions for Game Pass? Some regions don‘t have all Perks available. If your Friend and you live in the same country this shouldn‘t be the problem.

    Last Question. Is your Birthday in your profile set correctly?

    This problem is related to your internet or your region, I never had such problems with Xbox, at most it was just Xbox Live that was down, they also have great practices for consumers to enjoy, like Game Pass
