Xbox Game Pass Redemption Code doesn't work

So, I've got a code for 3 months of game pass for getting Discord Nitro. Was really glad, but there turned out to be a problem, it says "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need
to redeem it on a different web page." and that's it. I suspect it might be somehow connected to region settings (maybe the code is redeemable only in US) and I'm in Europe and to complicate things even more I have an account and regional settings for
one country and actually living in another one. But no combinations of settings has let me to redeem the code. Any ideas on what I could do?

You can request a free call-back by signing on at
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and selecting Billing. When prompted to speak to a virtual agent, decline it. After answering a few more
questions, you should get the option to request a callback.

If your account will use the region it's set for. If you get any codes from another region they won't work. I know the Discord promotion was region specific so you may not be eligible.

I'd gladly do that, but the call back option also doesn't seem to work for some reason and I couldn't find a direct number to call myself.
