Xbox Game Pass preventing me from playing Fallout 3

Today I decided to boot up Fallout 3 GOTY Edition. When I tried to boot up the game, I got a message telling me to renew my Xbox Game Pass subscription. I didn't need Game Pass for Fallout 3 because I have the physical disc. It took me several tries before
I was finally able to boot up the game and load my save.

Oh! It finally let me into my save via the cloud...only took 2 hours.

I play on 2 different Xbox One consoles. The one that was last used works fine. If I switch, it takes FOREVER to sync to the other console. I'm going on TWO HOURS of trying to play Fallout 4 on my main console...all because of the syncing being very slow
despite a very fast internet connection...currently stuck on 99% syncing...unless I want to use the other Xbox One, which I SHOULD NOT have to...

 

did you download the game with game pass before buying the physical copy?

 

Delete any digital edition of the game that may have been installed previously and only run the game off the disc. Sounds like a bug of some sort, let us know if it keeps happening tho.

 

Next time, just eject the disc and insert it again and wait for the game to boot up by itself.

 

Nope, I bought the stand alone copy years ago, then later got the GOTY Edition.

 

I don't have a digital version of Fallout 3, just the physical version.
