Xbox game pass - possible to play "play anywhere" games on PC?

Hi,

I was thinking about getting sea of thieves and play it on PC. Now Im just thinking about getting Game Pass 'coz it will get the sea of thieves with 9,90 for a month and if sea of thieves will be play everywhere version... that jolly roger then.

Does it work like that? The knowledgebase didnt give any straight answers.

Does Xbox game pass enable game pass on Windows 10?

Now any game that is xbox play anywhere game and in the game pass then yes you can download and play those games on your PC.

You can go here and find the games that are xbox play anywhere

Those would be the only games that if they happen to be on the game pass list and xbox play anywhere list then you would be able to download and play the game on the PC

Yes. Any games that are Play Anywhere Titles will work on the PC as well.

It's never been Play Anywhere, but it is on Game Pass for PC. Is it possible it was installed from that?

PC Game Pass is mainly PC only games, but there are a few exceptions. These games would be Xbox Play Anywhere games, which mean you can play on PC and Xbox. Remember that the games that are on PC Game Pass and are part of Xbox Play Anywhere can be played on the console.

You would have to purchase that game for the PC in order to play it on the PC. Game Pass is primary for the Xbox, not PC. So only games that are both Play Anywhere titles but also part of Game Pass will work on the PC. That game is not a Play Anywhere
