    I even know the cause of this problem. Before the Xbox Game Pass was "released " for the PC (because it technically already existed), I still bought it because it had some games available from the PC, such as Forza Horizon 4 and Ruiner. After being released to PC, I bought the Ultimate Edition that says on the site that converts all your months of the Game Pass that you previously signed to the Ultimate version. I bought it, and on the website that shows my signatures from Microsoft really shows that all my months are now in Ultimate.

    The problem then is that when I launch the Microsoft Store app shows my Game Pass subscription as "Game Pass Console " (The version I had before), not allowing me to play game pass games for PC. I go for example to Metro Exodus and the "install " button is unavailable because it does not detect my device.

    Is this a problem with my version of Windows? I think not, because I even managed to install Hellblade (which is a game that comes to PC even if you have console game pass) and play normally... Could not download if I did not install the May windows update.

    I await return. It's going to be a month later, and I haven't even used my signature yet!!!!

    Also, this might be a issue in your guy's end. I recently acquired an new laptop and it has the same problem even though my system is up to date. And yes, all my windows stuff is up to date.

    Game Pass Ultimate for PC

    Game Pass Ultimate doesn't have a separate PC or console version. Only the standard version of Game Pass does. Game Pass Ultimate includes both Game Pass for PC and console as well as a Gold subscription.

    If you already have EA Play (or standard Game Pass/Gold), it'll be converted to Ultimate as well.

    You might've bought the console version of game pass which is not compatible with pc. To use game pass on pc, you either need to buy the pc version, or game pass ultimate
    I have purchased the PC (Beta) Xbox pass.

    How can I unlock the game pass quests from having a padlock on them?

    I have had the same issue ever since I renewed Game Pass Ultimate last week.

    • Everything works except Game Pass Quests on phone app and console
    • Game Pass Ultimate subscriber bonus points arent available on Xbox app
    • Xbox app on PC shows I am currently subscribed to Game Pass PC plan even though I am subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate plan and it shows correctly on microsoft account page.

    If you have Xbox Game Pass Console only, you would need to subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass PC Beta separately in order to access Game Pass content there. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes both versions (Console and PC).
