Xbox game pass pc games freezes EA play have to power off

So i have the xbox game pass and i use it on my pc to play forza and battlefield but i’ve been having problems with these games only.. when i play for a while it will freeze and i can’t alt tab out i just have to power down :/ and i will have some audio distortion playing like a cd skipping.. doesn’t happen as often on forza but battlefield 1 it’s after 1 match pretty much every time or worse and battlefield V i can barely get a game started.. don’t think it has anything to do with my pc parts for they are all new and everything seems to be working fine and i don’t have this problem on other games

Hi,

Did you build this machine yourself or was it a pre-build?

Sounds like an issue with the sound driver. It may be using a generic Windows driver, best to get the one available from the mortherboard manufactures website and install that.

Disable as many third-party programs as you use on your PC, clean boot, and try again.

Does the problem still occur even though I clean boot and disable third-party programs? What other games do you play?

If you have EA Play for PC, then that is coming to Xbox Game pass for PC. If you have EA Play for Xbox, then that is what is going to be included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from the 10th November.
