previous article that has the references the code that you have posted. It looks like it has a possible solution in it, if nothing works I try unplugging the xbox for 30 or more seconds then restart. If that doesn't work I would

contact Microsoft directly referencing the error code and see if they can help you on the back end!

So as I continue to beat my head against the wall, I think I may have tentatively found a work around for my particular issue. And again, you got to love PC's. They just have the oddest compatibility issues. Not sure if this applies to any one else.

So long story short, I run Zonealarm Free for my firewall and antivirus. It's on both the PC's that have my issue. My son just lets stock Microsoft Defender handle his Antivirus and firewall needs. After seeing another suggestion somewhere about antivirus
programs causing issues, I decided to set Zonealarm to NOT load at all with Windows, rebooted and tried to the Xbox Beta app and to grab Metro Exodus.

It just worked. I am about 10% through my install. This makes sense. My friend who has Win 10 Pro doesn't use Zonealarm. My son as I mentioned doesn't use Zonealarm. I am willing to bet that other folks out here who have it working don't use Zonealarm.

So now, I need to do more testing. Can I install Vampyr, Gears 5, Wolfenstein II while Zonealarm is disabled? If so, can I configure Zonealarm to not interfere with Xbox Beta App and the Store?

So maybe those others that are having issues, maybe you are not running Zonealarm but maybe other malware type protections softwares are interfering. My suggestion, try disabling and if need be full on uninstalling just to test. Just hitting exit Zonealarm
and then trying to install after Zonealarm closed was not enough. Even when I exited Zonealarm, it still left some processes running that only went away after a reboot and after unchecking the load with windows option.

So I will do more testing, but I think I found the culprit.

What's really odd about this. When working with the MS Support Agents, they did the msconfig.exe thing where they disabled all non Microsoft processes and services option for a Safe Boot or whatever and I guess Zonealarm still loaded up enough to still be
an issue. Of course did not know that at the time.

I will follow up if I can make Xbox Beta work with the Zonelarm Free product. I did reach out to Zonealarm support via a we chat and they just suggested tinkering with settings within Zonealarm. I will do that to a point, but if I can't make it play nice
then I will look for another AV/Firewall/Malware solution that does play nice.

Thank you for replying back. It would seem at this time it would be best to talk with a Xbox Support Representative as you have already done so and are scheduled to do so. When you speak with the Support representative during the callback, please make
sure to mention everything that you mentioned in your previous post. It is peculiar that it should allow you to install the game on a Windows 10 non-Pro PC but not a Windows 10 Pro PC as you have stated. Additionally, please make sure to get a
case number from the representative to ensure that the issue is taken care of.

Hi Ruben - can you escalate this issue to some technicians please? You'll need to get someone who understands the actual back-end of these systems looking into it, because it's obviously a bug / network issue / profile corruption.
