    XBOX Game Pass PC - Can Install/Run Certain Games but Cannot Play


    I have the XBOX game pass for PC beta. I'm able to download and install games without any issues. I'm also able to run and fully play certain games flawlessly without issues. However, I've come into some problems with certain games such as Shadow of War
    and Dishonored 2. I have both games installed and I am able to run them. They open and load up fine, but then I get to a main menu screen and click a button to continue and I get an error "Profile Required". So I effectively cannot play these games. I notice
    that if I spam buttons really quickly it seems like another application is attempting to open and...sign me in I suppose? However, I'm already signed in via the xbox beta app. What's the issue here? I'd really like to be able to play these games...

    I wanted to avoid doing that until I was certain that that would be the solution. Games are pretty big, especially SoW (98 GB) and my internet connection isn’t the best. I’ll give it a shot though. Regardless, I think that this shouldn’t be an issue at
    all and hopefully Microsoft fixes it.

    Cant download BOUGHT games from xbox to my PC

    Unfortunately it cannot play on the pc with those games but I can advise you to take the ultimate game pass so you can play with all the games of the xbox game pass both on xbox and on the pc

    Now that you said, I really cannot find Assassins Creed Origins or other Ubisoft games if I search it on the "Xbox Game pass" tab of the Xbox app.

    Apparently they are only available for the console Game Pass or for cloud gaming for PC users that have Game Pass Ultimate.

    PC users that have PC Game Pass are not able to install and play them on the computer.
