    Xbox Game pass parental controls BUG


    I have xbox game pass for pc but whenever I try to install a mature game, I get an error saying the game's content is above my account's restrictions, so I can't install it. I have no restrictions on my account and no family or parental controls whatsoever.
    I tried to contact microsoft about this and they closed my thread without even trying to help me! if anyone in the community has had this issue lets work together to figure this out. Clearly Microsoft doesn't care since game pass for pc is in beta.

    Hey, i really think this is a bug, maybe probably due to the beta status of the Xbox App/Gamepass? Anyway i have also neither any account restriction nor family controls.

    The only way i was able to play mature games with Gamepass was to download via Microsoft Store. There you have to identify yourself via Microsft account, not Xbox account.

    This procedure was a bit odd, but it worked.

    P.S. I recently realized it also worked via Xbox Gamepass Mobile App. In my case for iOS.
