    Does Xbox game pass enable game pass on Windows 10?

    The Xbox Game pass website is actually out of date. Xbox One games that are in the 'Play Anywhere' program and are in the current Game Pass Catalogue can be downloaded and played as part of the subscription on a Windows 10 PC.

    I've checked on my PC and they are showing an 'Install' option for my PC in the Windows Store.

    Also: Play Anywhere Xbox Game Pass games can play on PC, too

    Game Pass for PC

    There are many games on the game pass that are made to be played on PC, like The Division, DiRT4, Clustertruck, and Human Fall Flat. But for some reason on game pass, all those games are only for Xbox. They advertise that there are tons of games on the game
    pass but only like 5 for PC gamers. It isn't entirely fair and Xbox should change that for some games.

    It could depend on what games you're trying to play. Keep in mind that only games that are Play Anywhere titles will work with game pass. Otherwise,
    you would have to purchase them in order to play them on the PC.

    What games are you trying to get on your PC?

    While there are quite a lot of games available both for PC and Xbox through the Play Anywhere program, not all Play Anywhere titles are in the Xbox GamePass, and not all GamePass games are available on
    the PC.

    Currently you can only play the following GamePass games on your PC:

    • Snake Pass
    • Ruiner
    • Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition
    • Sea of Thieves
    • State of Decay 2
    • Gears of War 4
    • Halo Wars 2
    • Disneyland Adventures
    • Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection
    • ReCore
    • Halo Wars: Definitive Edition
    • Super Lucky's Tale
    • Riptide GP: Renegade
    • Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure

    Because not all the games that are in the Xbox Gamepass are in Xbox Play Anywhere. About 80% of the Xbox GamePass titles are not Xbox Play Anywhere and therefore do not play on PC. Xbox Play Anywhere is an official Xbox emulator for PCs running Windows 10.
    Games that are also on Xbox and are going to play on PC are not a PC platform!

    Xbox Play Anywhere is NOT an emulator. The Xbox Play Anywhere games are compiled for the Windows 10 PC platform as well as Xbox. There is no emulation going on, which would unnecessarily slow down the games. They run natively on Windows 10, not an emulated
    Xbox environment.

    If I buy Ultimate on my pc will it also work for Xbox?

    Game Pass Ultimate contains Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, EA Play (XBOX & PC), Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Live Gold. So yes, it will work on Xbox and PC.

    Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold, Game Pass for Console, and Game Pass for PC. As long as you're signed into the same account on both the PC and Xbox, you would have Game Pass on both.

    You won't be able to access all Xbox games on the PC. Only games that are Play Anywhere or included in Game Pass for PC.

    Some games are exclusive for console and others for PC.

    Btw remember tha Xbox Game Pass on PC it's just started, so you will see more and more games will be add on Game Pass.
