xbox game pass not working for sea of thieves(PC)

1) Are you playing Sea of Thieves on PC or Xbox?
2) When you previously played Sea of Thieves, was that also through Game Pass? Or was it purchased elsewhere?

3) When you originally played Sea of Thieves, was it through the same Gamertag that is now an active Game Pass subscriber?

For Sea of Thieves, are you trying to download it through the Xbox App or Microsoft Store app? If you've tried one but not the other, try the other and see if it'll work there.

I did just want to add an extra bit of info here. If you get the Xbox Game Pass (a monthly membership) then you will be able to play Sea of Thieves on your PC as the game is included with the pass.

Sea of thieves requires gold and game pass, unless you purchase sea of thieves, then you only need gold.
