Xbox Game pass not working after i switched to new pc

Thanks for the screenshots. This error can happen if the Microsoft Store app is not synced with your subscription.

First, make sure there are no service outages on Xbox Status:

Try resetting the Xbox App by following these steps:

1. Press Win + I to open Settings.

2. Navigate to Apps and then Installed apps.

3. Scroll through the list and find System components.

4. Locate "Xbox App" click on the three-dot menu, and choose Advanced options.

5. First, try clicking Repair to see if that resolves the problem. If the issue continues, select Reset.

Also, reset the Microsoft Store app by pressing the Win + R key and type:

wsreset.exe

A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

Try manually removing your login credentials:

1. Close Xbox App, Microsoft Store, and all games.

2. Press the Windows button and type "Credential Manager."

3. Open the Windows "Credential Manager".

4. Click on "Windows Credentials"

5. Look for any entry named 'XblGrts|DeviceKey' and click the down arrow.

6. Click Remove and then click Yes in the pop up window.

7. Launch the Microsoft Store or Xbox App and sign into your Microsoft account.

If the issue persists, try creating a new user account on the PC (local) and logging into the apps from there.

1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Other users

2. Clock Add Account

3. In the sign-in window choose 'I don't have this person's sign-in information'

4. In the Create Account window click 'Add a user without a Microsoft account'

5. Follow the prompts and then sign out of the current user

6. On the lock screen, sign into the new user account

7. Open the Xbox App and sign into the Microsoft account you want to use.

start downloading everything again. Once done you can switch back to your regular account."

Do I have to subscribe to the game pass once more? The new account does not recognize the game pass I have bought on the original one.

To share subscription between PC and console, you need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

• The Game Pass for console works only on the console.
• Game Pass for PC works on PC only.
• Game Pass Ultimate works on both
