Xbox Game Pass not downloading games on Series X?

I have a active game pass but my xbox series x is telling me to join game pass to play and download games

Same here (Germany, Xbox Series X, Game Pass Ultimate).

I have downloaded the Game Pass iOS app which allows me to select on which Xbox (One X or Series X) I want to install the game on but it fails with "Es ist ein Problem aufgetreten" (An Error occurred).

But I have already downloaded it on my Xbox series X. However if I own it through game pass will it work.

You mentioned you purchased Game Pass Ultimate and wanted to install STEEP but cannot find it in the Xbox App. According to the game information page, STEEP cannot be downloaded to a PC as it is only compatible with the Xbox One and Series X/S. If you have an Xbox One or Series X/S you may download the game and play it on the console.

Go to 'My Games & Apps'

Scroll down to 'Applications' and click on 'Xbox Game Pass'

Scroll down to 'Recently Added'

Here, you'll see two separate versions of Grand Theft Auto V. One has a gold border and "Xbox Series X|S" in square brackets, so this is the one you'll want to download if you're on an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S By downloading this version of the game you will get the latest versions of Story Mode and GTA Online.
