XBOX game pass is forcing me to re subscribe early

XBOX game pass is forcing me to re subscribe early. i have 7 more days left. it runs out on the 18th. i am new to pc. coming from xbox and its been alot of hassles. i have been downloading games and playing fine. just now i went to download another game and its directing me to the free gamepass thing. i would just do it and get it over with but my card is being declined for some reason. probably cus theres no money but its free?? anyway i would just like to play until my time is up but it wont let me download anything new and everything that was downloading is hualted/paused. i can play things that are already downloaded but thats it? why so many problems on pc? EA gave me issues linking the account at first and i had to loose everything i owended by switching my email to the ssme as my xbox one. had to or else ea wouldnt work and they have no solutions to fix these kids of problems. we just loose hundreds of dollars. anyways now im getting messed around with by xbox and im just not happy with the supposed great pc experience yet. pay almost $2000 on a gaming laptop to have all these issues when i could have just stayed on console and not lost a penny. just crazyness.

anyone know why its forcing me to restart my game pass early?? i would appreciate it if it would leave me alone until the appropriate time.

Hello Brad, by chance my subscription to The Ultimate Game Pass also ends on the 18th, as I have the automatic renewal turned off, he shows this warning but is not forcing me to re-sign or renew, it's just a warning that the 18th will be the last valid day of the subscription.

In this case after the subscription expires I will see the best option to re-subscribe to the Ultimate Game Pass.

Well, the OP is being forced to re-sign....as highlighted by this part of their post:

"but it wont let me download anything new and everything that was downloading is hualted/paused"

That is not just a simple "your subscription runs out in 7 days" thing

Pre-authorized charges like subscriptions to Game Pass or pre-ordered games are usually charge 10 days before their due date to give people time to correct the problem. So it tried to charge your card, or at least did a check to make sure your chart could be charged that failed. Game pass does require that you have a valid form of payment on file at all times

Thank you for the replies. Yeah it seems I an unable to download anything new until I renew my sub. I can play games I already have but that's it. Ea is tye same way as well. I guess it's just being weird because the subscription it from being done on console then moving to pc 1/2 way thru a month. I'm just gonna have to get my new subscription and deal with it lol. I was just upset because it seemed I kept having issue after issue after switching to pc. I too have recurring billing turned off because I've been over drafter a few times in the past and it got real expensive. But anyway, thanks again for the response. In2as just upset that night.

I believe the game pass version of the game is the standard edition, this edition doesn't the early access.

For early access you need to buy the "Ultimate" version.

As stated by the xbox team at E3, Forza Horizon will be playable for game pass subscribers at launch day.
