    My son has received 4 xbox game passes gift cards but wanted a regular xbox live gift card. How do I refund these or exchange to my balance for in game or other purchases?

    Game pass cards are not gift cards. So no, you'll need an Xbox Gift card to buy in game items. :)

    There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.
