Xbox game pass game stuck at 0% downloading

Additional information is needed, please answer the following questions to assist you properly:

Is this happening on Xbox or PC?
If it's on Xbox, what console do you have?
If it's on PC, are you on Windows 11 or 10?
When this started to happen? Do you know if your OS received an update recently?
If you try waiting the result is always the same? 0%?

And, what did you tried so far to fix this problem?
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

AndyShadow Sorry to hear you still have not seen the update.

Can you tell me what version it's showing right now?

Try searching the command wsreset to reset the store and see if an update pops up afterwards.

Hi all,

Preview users on the 4.67.15001.0 build should be receiving updates to the 4.67.21001.0 build which should resolve their issue without having to do any PowerShell commands.

Please check the Store>Library>Get Updates to update the Gaming Services. It may take 24-48 hours to see it while it's continuously pushed out, so don't worry if you do not see it right away.

Thank you all for reporting these bugs so the team could resolve them before it hits GA. As Insiders on preview builds, these things tend to happen, so please keep reporting issues as you come across them.

Edit: If you are on the 4.66.30001.0 build, you will not see this update, as it's only for insiders. If you unsubscribed from the Insiders program previously and are still seeing this issue, try subscribing to the Insiders program again and you should be prompted for the update.

Had the same update in the Microsoft Store app for Gaming Services, and after that update the games I weren't able to download before are now downloading.

Still not happy about the amount of time it took for this to be fixed, but at least I learned a thing or two about Power Shell >_>

I feel you, it has been 7 days or more for people check out the one star reviews for the gaming services app. This is Games for windows live all over again. MS seem unable to deliver a content delivery system for their own OS. During this time I have managed to install games from Epic, Steam and Gog. And launch them. I cannot play the games on Gamepass I was enjoying and we need a more solid answer from MS about what is happening. Thanks to the guys who tried to battle this with Powershell, but as someone else said we shouldn't have to fix this ourselves.

Steam has an option to verify integrity and I don't think its ever failed to sort out a game that hasn't loaded, and as Total War player for along time, WH1 and WH2 have both had prior issues with patching and DLCs but steam always manages to fix the integrity of the install. PS plus Premium seems much more attractive right now, as it would cost me a month and a half of Gamepass to try it out for the remainder of my current plus plan.
