Xbox game pass for PC recurring payment issue

Since that's a charge for a game, it's not a recurring payment. You would only have a recurring payment if you purchase a subscription for gold, game pass, EA Access.

fixed it on xbox i had recurring billing turned on after the 3 month game pass ends this is why they wanted payment

i turned off recurring billing and game pass is enabled in subscriptions

now it shows game pass active

If the gift card says Game Pass on it, then it will only be for Game Pass. It should state if it's for the console or PC. If it's a regular Xbox gift card that adds funds to your account, you can purchase Game Pass with it as long as you have enough to
cover the next payment since it starts a recurring subscription or you have a credit card or Paypal on file.

Online purchasing is one piece of the issue here, but do they allow for recurring payments? Payment methods for Xbox must allow this as they may be used to buy recurring Xbox LIVE subscriptions.

Note, the offer does state it is for new members only. So if you've previously had Game Pass, you would not be eligible for the free month.
