Xbox game pass for pc permanently pausing

I was trying to install Rage 2 on my pc and it was all going well into i turned my computer off. When i turned it back on the download was at the point i was at before but it just said downloading with no actual progress being made even after hours. I then
tried pausing and resuming the download but it just got stuck infinitely pausing. The only way ive found to get it out of the pausing loop is to turn my computer off but then it gets stuck back on downloading without actually downloading. Does anybody know
a way i can get it to actually work?

Sorry to hear it. If you are having trouble downloading the game from the beta app then please cancel the install and launch the Store app. Find the game there and start the install again

I cancelled the install but when i click “install” on the microsoft store nothing happens. However when i interact with the download on the xbox beta app its fine.

there are services out there that allow you to pause your subs, i use such services, they are flexible and great, either paid monthly or paid yearly too.
