Xbox Game Pass for PC game is queued but not downloading

I've restarted my pc several times and it's been several days with no luck. This happened once before with a different game. That game eventually downloaded but I didn't do anything to make it happen. How do I make it start downloading or is the a common
problem for the beta with no answer yet?

Hey XBF Diego F,

I figured out the problem, my auto update didn't update Windows 10 so I had to download a new update to start any updates for MS programs. Easy fix.

I jumped the gun posting the question on here I guess.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help troubleshoot the issue.

Since it still is a Beta, there will be some issues with the app or downloading games from the Game Pass. However, we can try some things to see if we can get the game installing.

What game are you trying to download? Have you confirmed that you have enough space for the game on your default storage drive? Have you tried cancelling the download and trying to download a different game?

Most games on the Game Pass for PC requires administrator approval to download and play. Are you using a Microsoft account and are you running the app as an administrator?

Give us some more details on the issue and we can see what could be causing this problem.

If you have bought Game Pass Ultimate, then it includes Games Pass for Xbox, Game Pass for PC, EA Play for Xbox, Cloud Gaming on android & Xbox Live Gold. So yes, you can use it on your PC.

It's simple to use, download the Xbox app on your PC, log in with the account that has Game Pass Ultimate, and then download a game from the app, once downloaded, start the game.

In order to download PC games from the new Xbox Game pass for PC, you'll need to first download the Xbox Console Companion app (Beta) and then download the Xbox Game Pass PC app (Beta) from this website,

Xbox Game Pass for PC. Then, you need to make sure you have Windows version 1903.

Do you have all of these requirements? Where are you trying to download the game? Can you download other games from the Xbox Game Pass for PC?
