Clear and reset Store cache in Windows 10

Step 1: Close Windows Store app if it’s running.

Step 2: In the Start menu search box, type WSReset (Windows Store Reset) to see Wsreset in the search results.

Step 3: Right-click on WSReset and then click Run as administrator option. Click the Yes button when you see the User Account Confirmation box.

Step 4: restart Pc and Modem/router

Am curious: Have you tried downloading the games direct through the MS Store rather than via the Xbox App? The Store will give you an option for downloading via Game Pass. Worth a try if you haven't. personally, I have never experienced decreased speeds through the Store (well, asides from expected busy times etc)

I have found the Xbox App to be pretty poor in general and avoid using it unless I have to

I have done some checking today, downloading things from the Xbox App and MS Store on a network connection that has a maximum of 78MB/s:

MS Store: Download speeds, once they get going, maintain a speed of between 55 and 65MB/s. 80-90% of my maximum speed is acceptable

Xbox App: Download Speeds maintain a speed of between 5-8MB/s.

The XBox App I tried about an hour after trying on the MS Store today so no major difference. Given how buggy and poor the Xbox App is, am not surprised.

Of course, this doesn't help with your slow speeds via the MS Store!

This means it may be a problem with the application or router cache, try the steps without restarting the router and then try restarting the router without clearing the cache to rule out

I rejoined to game pass tonight for AEO4 and FH5.

Firstly ill start with the APP. This is by far the worst designed app out there for gaming. Its absolutely horrendous to not only look at in terms of its design but also its social connectivity with friends and usability.

Secondly is the amount of people having the same issue with download speeds only for this app. How can a company of this size with the abilities they have produce such bug/issue riddled garbage??

Tonight I tried to download AOE (still going after 5 hours) and have to say that this is the worst experience ive had downloading ANYTHING in some time. Ive been sitting on 500kps-1.5mbps all night. This is absolutely unacceptable. I sit on 12-13mbps through steam

I will 100% be purchasing FH5 through steam now purely to avoid the headache of downloading 125gig at 500kps
