Xbox Game Pass for PC, Can't download due to restrictions on account.

Can you check your privacy settings please?

Make sure that under Privacy, Xbox One/ Windows 10 online safety, everything is set as ALLOW and EVERYONE.

If everything is all good there, please try these steps.

Open Settings then System -> Apps -> Apps & features -> look for Microsoft Store and click it. ->The advanced options link will appear. Click it. -> On the next page, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store to default settings. Do the same on the Xbox app too.

After that, kindly sign out and sign back in on the Microsoft store app and Xbox app.

Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regard to the same issue. It can be an emerging issue but since there is no official update or information yet, we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

It seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. Kindly try installing games from Microsoft Store app itself.

Thank you for your help.

I tried to install the game directly (foe eg. Immortality) from the Microsoft Store directly and it worked on my Win 11 laptop.

So I get back to Xbox app on my Win 10 desktop and successfully tried to install a game. No error message occured.

Then I get back to my Win 11 laptop and log back into Xbox app with my account and successfully installed Sea of Thieves and Immortality appears as installing.

Only need to try on my Win 11 desktop, but so far so good at this time.

Didn't know why it get back properly.

I suspect the fact that installing the game directly from the Microsoft Store send the correct ID details to the Xbox App regarding the age limitation and birth date.

I'll let you know if everything will be fine in the next days.

The 360 store and the One store are set up differently. Due to restrictions on child accounts for the 360 store that can't be adjusted on the One, you can't download backwards compatible games. You can get them through a 360 console.
