Xbox Game Pass - FF13 Pause Screen bug

I've seen this particular issue raised here and elsewhere with multiple TS options suggested and I'm still short of a fix.

Issue: On initial launch, the game works. I can get in, play, whatever. However when I close the game and go back in to it later, the launcher comes up fine but when I click start game, it goes to the Square Enix splash screen then straight to a "Paused" screen as if you had manually paused during gameplay. The only commands it responds to at this point is LB+RB which brings up an option to quit the game. This seems like a known issue.

-I do not get a 2nd Xbox live sign in pop up anywhere which apparently is the issue for many players. I get the first one when the launcher opens, but not a 2nd one after this.
-I deleted and reinstalled and the above happened again. It worked the first time and let me into the game, but not the 2nd or any subsequent attempt.

-I have tried changing between full screen and windowed mode as well as lowering graphics settings.

-I forced admin privileges for the WindowsApps folder and forced the game file and the launcher to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode for all users with full screen optimisations disabled as has been suggested to work for others before.
-I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as suggested to me and nothing has changed.

Dxdiag states I have no issues, my drivers are up to date and I've tried running the game with antivirus disabled as well, no joy.

Does any brainiac have any further suggestions for me here because I'm at my wits end (Short of "It's doing you a favour by not working etc", that's just old now)
