Xbox Game Pass Error when opening the app

When opening the app the following message shows up:

The message translates: "No Applicable Application Licenses Found"

I have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I have The Outer Worlds installed via Game Pass and it opens up normally, just the app doesn't.

Try to log out, delete the app restart your pc and download the app again.

Are you trying to log into a game or the Xbox App? If you're on Android, and trying to log into the Xbox or Game Pass app, I'd recommend searching the store for "Xbox (Beta)" or "Game Pass (Beta)" and see if you get the same error there.

Is the error code an Android system error or an App error you're getting? Also, can you provide the make and model of your phone and what version of Android you're running?

It is an app error. Microsoft msge says to try again. Device is Nokia 7. Has been fine til recently. App usually logs in automaticallt when opened but now this error appears

I'm not sure what I'd want Ubi to do about it.

I'd say the issue is that the Xbox app is now (from the latest version 2304.1001.15.0) opening the Ubisoft Connect app - without user's consent or an option to disable this or even any Game Pass Ubisoft games being accessed. The Ubi app is left running when the Xbox app is closed.

The new error messages in the Xbox app reinforce the impression that its due to an Xbox app change.

Without comms from MS or Ubi it's not clear what the reason or benefit for opening the Ubi app is.

Linking Xbox to Ubi accounts to access game Pass Ubi games is nothing new and likewise for EA- although even With EA games in the Xbox app I don't see the EA app being opened in background.

I had this issue in the past with Hitman 3 when that first launched on Game Pass, but that was fixed by leaving the Insider version of the Game Pass app.

Now I'm not in the Insider app anymore, and Vampire Survivors is the only game I've had this issue with. And there are no errors that come with the crash, the game window just closes about 1 second after opening

To provide a little more info, some games do nothing when I click play in the game pass app, or try the desktop shortcut.

Others will begin to open or show a launcher and then display this error popup:

{GAME NAME} can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected.
