Xbox Game Pass error 0x803f8001 - Can't launch downloaded games

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble launching games downloaded through Xbox Game Pass on my PC. Every time I try to start a game, I encounter the error code 0x803f8001. I've tried restarting my system and ensuring that my subscription is active, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, what steps did you take to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. Make sure that your Xbox Game Pass subscription is valid, and you are logged in with the correct account. You can do this by logging out of the Xbox app and Microsoft Store and logging back into your account.

2. make sure your Windows operating system and the Xbox app are both up to date.

3. In Windows Settings, find “Apps and Features”, select the Xbox app and click “Advanced Options”, then select “Reset”.

4. Reset or reinstall the game and test again.
