Xbox Game Pass Downloads HORRENDOUSLY SLOW

What the hell is going on?!

Been trying to download Sea of Thieves for the past 2 1/2 hours now, just ticked over 50% downloaded at an ABSOLUTE MAX SPEED of 5mb/s

NOT ACCEPTABLE IN THE SLIGHTEST, my download speed is 100mbps, I DO NOT expect to be sat here for this [mod removed] long waiting for this, what can be done? I have clicked into every possible fix/article/FAQ/random post in the depths of the internet and
NOTHING WORKS.

I am on a wired connection, tried resetting EVERYTHING, including the apps themselves and STILL RIDICULOUS [mod removed] DOWNLOAD SPEEDS.

SORT. IT. NOW.

Hi There,

Internet connections are a funny thing, it might be dependant on the time of day that you're downloading the game, or how many devices you have running. Sometimes try switching to wifi and then back to wired.

Download speeds are dependent on a lot of things not just what you have for your internet connection.

You can try stopping the download and restarting it (pause) to see if the connection takes a better routed path to the server. May even want to just reboot the console prior as well.

I've experienced this in the past as well mate and i can feel your pain. one thing i've found doing was to refresh my connection to the router.

so just disconnect it and reconnect a few minutes later. hope you have some luck getting this sorted.

I've noticed on my console that when the storage is close to being full it slows anything downloading tremendously.

Depends how the console is connected to the internet... sometimes. You wireless or hardwired?
