Xbox Game Pass code redeemed for the wrong platform

Hello,

I just redeemed an Xbox Game Pass code. I wanted to redeem it in order to use it with Windows 10 but I followed the wrong instructions and it was redeemed to use for Console.

Is there a way to have it assigned to be use for Windows 10 instead?

EDIT: I contacted the support and the agent was very gracious and helped me out. Unfortunately the code i redeemed was Console only. So the agent guided me through their current promotions and helped me get a subscription up for the PC. It was brilliant!
Issue resolved fast and effectively.

Not all games from the Game pass are available for PC unfortunately. SOT is available for PC in the Game Pass though

They are specific. You can't change them. But my advice is to contact support and explain the problem.

You are most welcome friend. Glad support helped you. Please, can you explain a question. I don't think I understand it completely. All game pass games for pc are downloadable including SOT.

I imagine he offered you to join ultimate so you could use it on your PC.

Thanks a lot. I will do that now. Just a side note. I tried and checked some some of the games via the Xbox Console Companion and Sea of Thieves if downloadable. Maybe only that one is?
